XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work call for abstracts is open!

September 2019 (Toronto, Canada) — The call for abstracts for the XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work is now open! Don’t miss a chance to be part of the World Congress in Toronto, Canada from October 4-7, 2020. Taking place every three years, the Congress is the world’s largest event for the global health and safety community, attracting delegates from more than 150 countries. 

We’re creating a dynamic and interactive programme  

Check out our website to see what we are planning. Prevention in the Connected Age: Global solutions to achieve safe and health work for all, is the theme for the Congress. We will have an innovative and interactive programme featuring speakers on leading topics. The main topics for the Congress are: 

  • Innovations in addressing longstanding safety and health challenges 
  • Implications of the changing world of work for occupational safety and health 
  • Advancing a culture of prevention 

Contribute your expertise! 

The Congress is a crucial forum for contributing your own experience and expertise to the topics that are most pressing for the global community. We welcome abstracts that contribute to a broad range of topics related to the Congress themes and sessions. Come and share knowledge, innovations, and lessons learnt in your country, in your workplace, or research findings from your latest scientific work. Abstracts can be submitted in English or French between September 15, 2019 and January 15, 2020. They will be reviewed by scientific advisors, and poster presenters and speakers will be selected from the abstracts.
