Ms. Hannah Milward

Director, Verisafe, New Zealand

Hannah Milward has spent over a decade in the health and wellbeing space. She is a clinical massage therapist, sport and exercise science and nursing graduate. Hannah has worked as a well-being coach, occupational health nurse, humanitarian nurse and therapeutic exercise therapist.

After facing violence, toxic relationships and crisis on the field, Hannah identified unmet needs around safety, holistic well-being, psychological health and preventative measures in workplaces. Hannah went on to develop a company delivering personal safety software, in order to better meet personal safety needs for workplaces that hire isolated, vulnerable or otherwise ""at risk"" workers, and the wider community.

Most recently Hannah has studied ‘embodied trauma first aid’, and various programs around mental health to create an online program; Psychological Safety and Self Awareness - with the aim of creating trauma informed and emotionally intelligent workplaces.
